FAYETTEVILLE — In the doubles final of the Wilson/ITA Central Region Championships, Colin Mascall and Blake Strode lost to Federico Chavaria and Andrei Daescu of Oklahoma, 8-6. The Razorback duo was the top seeded team, but fell just short of getting the tournament win.
"Blake and Colin played some good tennis out here," head coach Robert Cox said. "It was a tough lose and of course, we want to win, but overall, I'm proud of what I saw this week."
Playing in their third event this season, Mascall and Strode have advanced to two finals.
The Razorback netters will return to action Nov. 2-4 at the UNLV Invitational in Las Vegas, Nev.
