Lonoke man held in child-porn case

— A Lonoke man has been arrested on suspicion of viewing child pornography on a computer at the library and failing to comply with sex offender registration.

Justin Seth Leland, 26, 719 Fletcher Place, Lonoke, was arrested on the offenses of failure to register/failure to comply with reporting requirements, a Class C felony, and distributing, possessing or viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child, a Class B felony.

Acting on a report from the Lonoke Department of Human Services concerning a registered sex offender and infant, police launched an investigation. The infant was taken into custody by the Department of Human Services.

Leland is being held at the Lonoke County Detention Facility in lieu of $25,000 bond.
