Arkansas soldiers back from Iraq

More than 200 from 875th Engineer Battalion arrive in Wisconsin

— Maj. Gen. Bill Wofford stood in a hangar Saturday at the edge of the runway and looked out into the cool darkness of the early morning.

"It's a good day," said Arkansas' adjutant general. "A good day."

Lt. Col. Ronnie Anderson, state mobilization readiness officer, looked toward the pink sky as the plane landed at daybreak and he thought back to his own return from war two years earlier.

"That's the best feeling in the world right there, when the plane touches down," he said.
