Annaul 5K run/walk to benefit Elliott Foundation

SEARCY — The Dr. Robert E. Elliott Foundation will hold its annual 5K Run and Fun Walk on Saturday, May 17, at Spring Park.

Registration is at 7 a.m., followed by a ceremony at 8. The 5K begins at 8:30.

New this year are family-friendly activities such as the Spring Time Market, featuring fruits and veggies, children's items, fresh flowers and more. Also new are $1 activities for kids, including a petting zoo, pony rides, a jumping castle and more.

There will be a 2K kids fun run called Walking on Sunshine, Running for Hope at 8:40 a.m. Trophies will be awarded to the top three spots, and every participant will receive a medal.
