Bust of ring in Batesville nets meth haul, 52 arrests

A 2 1/2-year investigation into the distribution in Arkansas of a high-quality type of methamphetamine has so far netted more than 100 pounds of the drug along with more than 50 arrests and led to the dismantling of an organized-crime hub based in Batesville, authorities said Thursday.
