Police have identified a body found Saturday morning in Caddo River as that of an Arkadelphia man missing since Friday.
Canoers found the body in a few inches of water near a canoe rental establishment just Saturday morning.
Workers at the canoe rental said when they closed at about 6:30 pm no one had reported anyone missing.
"We went in by canoe in the river. We're taken to the body by the person that called it in and we identified him as a drowning victim at that time," said Corporal Woody Perry with the Caddo Police Department.
An autopsy will be performed Monday, police said.
