Toad Suck Car Club awards scholarships to Conway seniors

— The Toad Suck Car Club has presented two Conway High School graduates with scholarships to the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton. Monica Stewart and Ashton Dougherty were selected for the scholarship, totaling approximately $1,000. Stewart and Dougherty, both students in the auto collision program at Conway Area Careers Center, are enrolled in the auto collision program at UACCM. The award includes the tools and tool boxes that they are required to have for their training.

The car club also voted to give $2,000 to the Toad Suck Daze Scholarship Fund and $1,000 to the Museum of Automobiles at Petit Jean Mountain.

Toad Suck Car Club was founded in 1986 and is dedicated to the preservation and enjoyment of any and all cars and trucks. Club meetings are 7 p.m. the second Monday of the month at Smitty's Bar-B-Que in Conway.
