— The Bryant High School Jazz Band will present its next concert on Tuesday, March 18.

The concert will also include a guest performance of the "Happy Tymes Jazz Band."

The Bryant Jazz Band will present a 30 - to 45 -minute concert beginning at 7 p.m. in Love Auditorium, and the "Happy Tymes Band" will immediately follow its performance

"Happy Tymes" is a Dixieland band based in Little Rock. The band has been in existence since 1982.

"They're an amazing group of musicians who combine technical wizardry with wacky on-stage antics to delight audiences young and less-young," Bryant Band Director Chad Green said. "They're also just downright fun to watch.

"This performance will be a great opportunity for our Jazz students to perform for a professional Jazz Band and to be exposed to the Dixieland idiom. There is no doubt this concert will be a crowd-pleaser. Happy Tymes really knows how to entertain its audience."

There will be a $5 admission fee at the door.
