Western Kentucky's Jeremy Evans has come a long way in the past three weeks.

Evans, a sophomore forward from Crossett, will be center stage tonight as the Hilltoppers take on UCLA at 8:40 Central in the West Regional at Phoenix.

"It's been very exciting, unbelievable feeling," Evans said.

Evans was averaging 5 points and 5 rebounds before becoming the most valuable player of the Sun Belt Tournament with three breakout games. That carried over into the NCAA Tournament as Western Kentucky beat Drake and San Diego to advance to the Sweet 16.
