CONWAY - Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Nichols will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 7-9 p.m. Saturday with a dinner cruise for family on the Arkansas Queen. The couple were married May 25, 1958. Mrs. Nichols, the former Franceil Jones, is a retired registered nurse. Nichols is retired from Arkansas Rehabilitation Services for the Blind. They are the parents of Greg Nichols and Michael Nichols, both of Mayflower, and Marla Monroe of Owasso, Okla. The couple have four grandchildren.
HENSLEY - Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Stacks will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2 to 4 p.m. May 25 at Marlow Missionary Baptist Church. The couple were married May 24, 1958. Mrs. Stacks is the former Lucille Sims. Both are retired. They are the parents of Clay Stacks of Norfork and Dorothy House of Hensley. The couple have five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. John Studer of Sherwood celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple were married May 10, 1958. Mrs. Studer, the former Doris Mazey, is an administrative assistant with McKimmey Associates, Realtors. Studer is retired from the military. They are the parents of David Studer of Russellville and Kris Tackett of Sherwood. The couple have seven grandchildren.
WHITE HALL - Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Gilbert will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Hardin Baptist Church.
The couple were married May 23, 1958. Mrs. Gilbert is the former Melba Gregory. Both are retired. They are the parents of Sharon Hale of Camden and Greg Gilbert of Fairbanks, Alaska. The couple have two grandchildren.
