LITTLE ROCK — Jeanne Spencer, general chairman of the eighth annual tour of private gardens hosted by the Little Rock Council of Garden Clubs, welcomed participating homeowners and committee members to an afternoon tea and champagne toast May 9 ather Sherwood Road home as a "Thank you" for their participation.
The six garden owners in the Kanis/Ferndale area on the "Country Gardens" tour were Sue and Michael Fess, Paulette and Wayne Richie, Charlotte andRon Workman, Kathy and Ernest Barlett, Lolly and Ross Honea and Angie and Stacy Stafford.
Approximately 1,600 people toured the gardens May 3-4.
A special treat for the guests was a tour of the Spencer gardens.
