Williams Baptist College to go online this month

WALNUT RIDGE - Williams Baptist College plans to offer online classes starting Tuesday, May 27.

Academic Dean Kenneth Startup said, "We will offer three courses - marcroeconomics, introduction to sociology and general psychology - during this first term."

The online classes span eight weeks and will be taught by senior faculty members at Williams, Startup said.

Cost for the online classes will be $125 per credit hour, which amounts to $375 for a three-hour course. Startup said the cost is a special tuition rate only applicable during the initial online term, which is summer 2008. Payment in full will be required at the time of registration. Students may register for these courses online or by contacting the Williams Officeof Academic Affairs. Registration opened May 12 and is continuing through noon on Tuesday, May 27.
