Obama back home after winning presidency

The morning after being elected the United States' 44th president, Barack Obama had breakfast with his wife and daughters, who were late for school after 30-minute workout.

Obama planned to stay at home at least through the weekend; aides said he would review the names they had suggested for key positions in the new administration.

A top priority will be choosing his chief of staff.

Democrats who spoke on the condition of anonymity said that would likely be Rahm Emanuel, a veteran of the Clinton administration.
