Colorado's Buttermilk Mountain has double the skiing fun with high-energy Winter X Games on one side and serene, powdery slopes flanking another face.

Buttermilk Mountain near Aspen, Colo., assumed two distinct personalities over a weekend in January. It was almost like different ski mountains co-existing - somewhat incredulously and barely aware of each other - on the same hill at the same time.
