$25,000 bail in slaying in NLR among lowest

North Little Rock District Judge Jim Hamilton set a $25,000 bail this week for a man accused of killing a transient with a baseball bat - one of only two bails set under $100,000 for any defendant in an initial court appearance in a homicide case in the city since at least 2006.
