75-year-old woman accused of killing husband

ROGERS A 75-year-old woman is charged with capital murder in the death of her husband, according to Rogers authorities.
Myrtle Marie Walter was arrested Saturday in the Friday shooting death of 74-year-old Paul Walter.
Rogers Police Chief Steve Helms told The Morning News that officials responded to the Walter residence early Saturday morning for a medical emergency. Responders found Paul Walters' body.
Helms says Myrtle Walter admitted she shot her husband. A handgun was recovered from the scene.
The chief says the Walters argued before the shooting. The investigation is continuing.
Walter is being held without bond at the Benton County jail.
