Police seek suspect in Hot Springs hit and run

Police are looking for the driver of a Jeep Grand Cherokee that fatally struck a man who was out walking his dog in Hot Springs.

Police say 49-year-old Walter Jeffrey Morgan was struck and killed Tuesday night while walking his dog in the outside lane of U.S. 70. Capt. Mike Fletcher of the Arkansas State Police say authorities are looking for a forest green, 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee in connection with the crash. According to police, the Jeep sustained damaged to the right-front headlight and possibly damage to the passenger-side hood and windshield.
