LITTLE ROCK — Timberfest deemed a success
Despite rainy weather, Timberfest events went on as planned, said Grant County Chamber Executive Secretary LeAnn Williams.
Williams said estimated attendance at Sheridan's 25th annual event reached between 8,000 and10,000.
"We have the most loyal community; everyone stayed and participated even with the bad weather," Williams said.
Saturday's top event, the Lumberjack Competition, drew "around 30 competitors from all over the country," said lumberjack organizer Ken Bragg.
