100 YEARS AGO Sept. 5, 1908 FORT SMITH - As a result of the test of the brick being manufactured here and used in paving the streets of the city the Board of Improvement has given notice to the contractor that he is to use no more brick of the kind heretofore used. For a time at least the vast paving contract has been brought to a standstill.
