Marked Tree's Gray runs for 474 yards

Even Darren McFadden never had a night like this.
Michael Gray rushed for 474 yards and four touchdowns to lead Marked Tree to a 43-40 win over Augusta on Friday night, becoming The Associated Press Arkansas High School Player of the Week.
Gray's rushing total was the second-highest in state history, according to the Arkansas High School Sports Record Book. John Bunch of Elkins ran for 608 yards against Winslow in 1974. De'Arrius Howard of West Memphis is the only player to run for over 400 yards twice - he later played for the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Gray scored on runs of 50, 65, 14 and 49 yards.

- Spencer Keith, Pulaski Academy, threw for 449 yards and seven touchdowns in a 63-25 win over Magnolia.
- Corey Pow! ell, Spring Hill, ran for 326 yards and scored six touchdowns in a 50-26 win over Foreman.
- Chase Mitchell, Dierks, caught 18 passes for 232 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-0 win over Murfreesboro.
- Darius Winston, Helena-West Helena, caught a touchdown pass and returned an interception for a score in a 62-7 win over Paragould.
- Seth Tripod, Greene County Tech, threw six touchdown passes in a 53-44 win over Forrest City.
- Trevor Stone, Magnet Cove, scored six touchdowns in a 51-35 win over Bauxite.
- Derek Brinker, Springdale Har-Ber, ran for 144 yards in a 20-14 win over Springdale.
- Shane Boedeker, Bentonville, rushed for 203 yards in a 31-3 win over Fayetteville.
- Carter Callahan, Jonesboro, threw for 345 yards and four touchdowns and kicked the winning extra point late in a 47-46 victory over Little Rock Parkview.
- Demetris Harris, Jacksonville, caught six passes for 180 yards and four touchdowns in a 42-17 win over Moun! tain Home.
- Tauno Vannucci, Lake Hamilton, caught 11 passes for 201 yards and a touchdown in a 55-21 win over Sheridan.
- Kelsey Collins, Pine Bluff, caught two touchdown passes, recovered a fumble for a touchdown and intercepted two passes in a 43-25 win over Benton.
- Derrick Graham, Nashville, rushed for 228 yards and four touchdowns in a 34-14 win over De Queen.
- Dustin Wells, Cedarville, ran for 207 yards and a touchdown in a 24-8 win over Mountainburg.
- Ricky Brown, Bearden, rushed for 243 yards and two touchdowns in a 25-20 win over Strong.
