Even Darren McFadden never had a night like this.

Michael Gray rushed for 474 yards and four touchdowns to lead Marked Tree to a 43-40 win over Augusta on Friday night, becoming The Associated Press Arkansas High School Player of the Week.

Gray's rushing total was the second-highest in state history, according to the Arkansas High School Sports Record Book. John Bunch of Elkins ran for 608 yards against Winslow in 1974. De'Arrius Howard of West Memphis is the only player to run for over 400 yards twice - he later played for the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Gray scored on runs of 50, 65, 14 and 49 yards.
