I-40 lanes in Pottsville to be closed for work Wednesday

A lane of Interstate 40 at Pottsville will be closed Wednesday as crews work to paint the steel on the Crow Mountain Road overpass.

According to a release by the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department, the work will require the outside lanes in both directions to be closed between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., weather permitting.

As always, motorists are urged to use an alternate route if possible and to exercise caution when approaching and traveling through highway work zones.
