Husband charged in estranged wife's death

— A Little River County man has been charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of his estranged wife at a deer camp.

Forty-two-year-old J.T. Wright was charged Thursday in the Aug. 2 death of 34-year-old Leeann Wright. Her body was found in a camper at the camp near Arkansas Highway 32 East.

J.T. Wright was found at his home in Wilton with a gunshot wound to the head. He's now being held in the Little River County jail on $750,000 bond.

Investigators say Leeann Wright and spoken to a friend about possibly divorcing Wright.

Wright is due in circuit court Tuesday and is expected to enter a plea.
