LITTLE ROCK — Kristin Lindsey, chief operating officer of the Council on Foundations, will speak at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service.
The Council on Foundations, based in Washington, D.C., is a nonprofit membership association of more than 2,000 grantmaking foundations and corporations with assets totaling more than $282 billion.
Before she joined the council, Lindsey was founder of Intersector Consulting, where she worked with foundations and philanthropic associations on strategy, learning and evaluation, communications and program development. She also was senior vice president at the Donors Forum of Chicago, a membership organization serving 1,200 nonprofits and foundations in the greater Chicago area.
Her appearance at the Clinton School is set for noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sturgis Hall, 1200 President Clinton Ave., in Little Rock. Sturgis Hall is the former Choctaw Railway Station on the Clinton Presidential Center grounds. Audience members may take a bagged lunch. Drinks will be provided.
