WEDDINGS DENISE ALEXANDRA DILLARD CRAIG ANDREW LUCIE

— Wedding vows were exchanged by Denise Alexandra Dillard and Craig Andrew Lucie at 7 p.m. Aug. 15 in Trinity Episcopal Church. The Rev. Daniel D. McKee officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Alexander Dillard, 24 Edgehill Road, and the granddaughter of Mrs. Nicholas James Andrews of Abilene, Texas, the late Mr. Andrews, Mrs. William Thomas Dillard, also of Little Rock, and the late Mr. Dillard.

Dr. and Mrs. Richard Stephen Lucie of Jacksonville, Fla., are the parents of the bridegroom. He is the grandson of Mrs. John James Morrison of Vero Beach, Fla., the late Mr. Morrison, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Edgar Lucie Jr. of Savannah, Ga.

Garden-style urn arrangements of roses, hydrangeas and Casablanca lilies were placed on antique wooden tables at the sanctuary entrance. The chancel held a mass of wedding flowers in blush pink, white, ivory and sage green. Nuptial music was by organist Tim Allen, the Arkansas Symphony String Quartet and the Trinity Cathedral Choir.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a Monique Lhuillier ivory strapless gown of silk-satin organza. The ruched sweetheart bodice was belted with crushed velvet at the natural waist and a layer of embroidered ruffles overlaid the silk tulle skirt. Her tulle veil was chapel-length. She carried a gathered clutch of open garden roses in shades of ivory and white.

Serving as the bride's honor attendants were her sisters, Annemarie Cannell Dillard of Santa Monica, Calif., and Adrienne Michelle Dillard of New York.

Bridesmaids were Jennifer Grace Farmer and Heather Mason Owens, both of Little Rock; Anna Jones Fiascone of Chicago; Taylor Murphy Hodge and Jacqueline Elyse Rado, both of Austin, Texas; and Katherine Anita Rosbottom, Lauren Elizabeth Rosbottom and Louisa Wendt Ryan, all of New York.

They wore draped one-shoulder gowns of dusty lilac silk chiffon embellished on the shoulder with silk rosettes. Their bouquets were filled with blush pink roses, stock, lisianthus and green hydrangeas.

Flower girls were Ellen Wren Dillard, Georgia McRae Dillard and Ellis Ava Dillard, all of Little Rock and cousins of the bride. Ring bearer was William Thomas Dillard IV, also of Little Rock and cousin of the bride.

Serving as the bridegroom's honor attendants were his father and his brother, Ryland Stephen Lucie of New York.

Groomsmen were Stephen Harold Brooks II of Dallas; John Holt Clarkson of Washington; William Weller Drennon Gervin and Ralph Braithwaite Wilson III, both of Atlanta; William Hanover Long Jr. and James William Stewart III, bothof New York; Charles Crady Newton of Houston; James John Pugliese II of Austin; and Saif Abdul Rahim Al Zarouni of Dubai.

A reception at Little Rock Country Club followed the ceremony. The ballroom was draped in antique gold and natural white striped chiffon. Four large urns holding roses, dahlias, lilies, antique green hydrangeas and tulips marked the corners of the black and white checkered dance floor. The buffet in the Garden Room held a large arrangement of wedding flowers in a pedestal urn. Guest tables covered with natural white ribbon lace overlays were centered with glasscubes holding monochromatic arrangements of roses. Music was by The Soulsations of Memphis.

The bride is a summa cum laude graduate of Southern Methodist University in Dallas with a bachelor's degree in finance. She was a member of Phi Beta Pi. She is employed as exclusive brand manager for Dillard's.

The bridegroom received a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism from SMU. He served as president of Phi Delta Theta. He is a news anchor and reporter for WESH-TV in Orlando, Fla.

The couple will make their home in Florida after a honeymoon in Greece.
