100 YEARS AGO August 24, 1909 LUXORA - The public school term at Luxora, Mississippi county, will begin Monday. Mississippi county being one of the 30 counties to which the compulsory education law enacted by the recent legislature applies, the directors of the district have announced their intention to have the law enforced to the letter.
