• AUDREY ANDERSON ROBINSON, 89, of Little Rock, the last child of Ed and Bertha passed on Friday, August 21, 2009, leaving a testimony of God's faithful provision, direction and mercy. Strong in spirit, she overcame the many challenges her generation had.

She married well - a hard-working, smart and faithful husband, who passed 22 years ago after 48 years of marriage. Their three children brought them seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She loved children and had a calming effect with even the fussiest of the little ones. She was called "Mom" by more than her three own children. She has always given selflessly to everyone she knew - her children, family, including nieces and nephews, friends and to the many Girl Scouts she led and taught. She made sure her children grew up being taught integrity and having the opportunities to learn many various activities, skills and sports.

She was never to be lied to, but other misdemeanors could escape the usual structured consequences if you could appeal to her sense of humor. While she would have chosen to leave us earlier, she graciously submitted to the One who had the final word.

The viewing will be at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, (501) 224-8300, 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2009, and the services will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Gassville Cemetery at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
