JACKSONVILLE — Construction work on U.S. Highway 67/167 in Jacksonville will require a lane closure this week.
The state Highway and Transportation Department says the work will begin 6 p.m Thursday and be completed by 6 a.m. Friday.
Southbound traffic on 67/167 between Redmond Road and Arkansas Highway 440 will be shifted to the recently completed northbound side.
Workers are widening a 1.6 mile section south of Jacksonville to three lanes. Drivers are encouraged to use an alternate route if possible.
