LITTLE ROCK — Claiborne P. Deming, chairman of the Murphy Oil Executive Committee, will discuss his views on the nation's energy future at a speech Friday in Little Rock.
"Coffee with Claiborne Deming" is set for 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Great Hall in the Clinton Presidential Center, 1200 President Clinton Ave. Doors open at 8 a.m.
Deming was chief executive officer and president of Murphy Oil Corp. from October 1994 to December 2008. He joined the El Dorado-based oil and gas company as staff attorney in 1979 and held numerous positions.
