Got the blues: The Hot Springs Blues Festival will take place next weekend, beginning at 6 p.m. Sept. 4, 3 p.m. Sept. 5 and noon Sept. 6 at Hill Wheatley Plaza in downtown Hot Springs. Tickets are $5. Call (501) 844-1022.
NEXT MONTH For the Byrds: Singer-songwriter Tracy Byrd will perform an outdoor concert at the Arkansas Governor's Mansion in Little Rock, 5-7 p.m. Sept. 12. Admission is $100 and includes food and beverages. Fifty dollars of each ticket is tax-deductible as a donation. Proceeds will benefit the Arkansas Governor's Mansion Association.
