Best of Class 4A

— BEST QUARTERBACK Kiehl Frazier

Kiehl Frazier, a 6-2, 210-pound junior, has the ideal combination of arm strength, speed, size and knowledge for a multi-purpose quarterback in the Spread offense. He passed for 17 touchdowns and rushed for 15 more while helping lead Shiloh Christian to a Class 4A state title last year. Arkansas, Auburn, Tulsa and Western Michigan have already offered scholarships, and that list is likely to expand.

BEST RUNNING BACK Wesleigh Foster

Wesleigh Foster, a 5-11, 180-pound junior, had close to 1,600 all-purpose yards last year and led Clarksville to its first playoff victory in six years. Using his sub-4.5 speed, Foster caught 50 passes for 816 yards, ran for 501 yards on 60 carries and scored 14 touchdowns as Clarksville scored a school-record 423 points in its first year using the Spread offense.

BEST RECEIVER Zann Jones

Zann Jones, a 6-0, 185-pound junior, saw his numbers drop last year as opponents keyed on him while Shiloh Christian used running back Garrett Harper more in short-pass situations. Still, Jones managed to lead the team with 40 catches and scored seven touchdowns, including one against Pine Bluff Dollarway in the Class 4A state championship game.

BEST BLOCKER

Travis Bodenstein

Shiloh Christian's Travis Bodenstein, a 6-4, 290-pound junior left tackle, has started every game since the beginning of his freshman year and received a scholarship offer from Tulsa last summer as a rising sophomore. Using his size, strength, quickness and sharp instincts, Bodenstein helped the Saints rush for an average of 296 yards per game last year.

BEST DEFENSIVE PLAYER

Mitchell Roberts

Roberts, a 6-2, 240-pound senior middle linebacker at Shiloh Christian, has shown the ability to take over games on defense with his high-energy style and fierce intensity. He recorded 71 tackles last year and has scholarship offers from Tulsa and Illinois.

BEST TACKLER

Samuel Harvill

Samuel Harvill, Shiloh Christian's 6-1, 260-pound junior nose guard, swallowed up opposing linemen and seemingly lived in opponent backfields last year. He finished the season with 16 sacks, 24 1 /2 tackles behind the line of scrimmage and 3 fumble recoveries, recording 9 tackles and 1 sack in the state title game.

MOST VERSATILE

Isaac Muggy

Isaac Muggy, a 6-0, 180-pound senior with 4.6 speed, takes over at quarterback for West Fork after a productive season at wide receiver last year. He is also one of the top cornerbacks in the 4-4A Conference and will handle punt returns this year.

BEST LEADER Caleb Ramsey

Gentry's Caleb Ramsey, a 6-2, 185-pound senior quarterback, tore an anterior cruciate ligament in the sixth game of the year last season and still managed to gut out the season without missing a game. He threw a game-winning touchdown pass with 25 seconds left to lead the Pioneers to an upset victory at Prairie Grove in Week 9 and survived nine sacks during a season-ending loss to Huntsville.
