— The Rotary Club of Fairfield Bay has been a sponsor of the Dictionary Project for several years, giving dictionaries and thesauruses to third- and fourth-grade students in area schools.

This year, local third-graders received a copy of The Best Dictionary For Students, which includes many features, including handwriting samples of the letters of the alphabet, a poem called Nine Parts of Speech, a punctuation guide and weights and measures, as well as a guide to the dictionary.

Fourth-graders receivedWebster's Thesaurus For Students with more than 85,000 words and a guide to the understanding and use of synonyms.
