FORREST CITY — A West Virginia caregiver charged in the death of her 74-year-old client has been found dead in Arkansas.
St. Francis County sheriff's deputies said they discovered the body of Cathy Darlene Graham, 53, of Kegley, W.Va., on Wednesday night.
Deputies say Graham's body was lying in the back seat of a car parked at a truck stop, her feetsticking out an open window.
Deputies declined to discuss a cause of Graham's death but said she suffered from heart problems and didn't have one of her medications.
Graham faced a first-degree murder charge over the death of Curtis Yates of Lake Bottom, W.Va.
She had been scheduled to stand trial last week but did not appear in court. A bench warrant had been issued for her arrest.
