LITTLE ROCK — Computer classes for the elderly will be offered at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in September, beginning Tuesday.
The courses - photo editing and introduction to computers - will be offered at UAMS' Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging. Class schedules are:
Photo editing on Mondays and Wednesdays from noon to 2 p.m.
Introduction to computers on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
The monthly cost is $40 per course for individuals and $65 for couples. An optional textbook is $15.
The monthly program is administered by SeniorNet, a nonprofit volunteer group.
