— VOLLEYBALL UA's Anderson all-tournament

Arkansas freshman middle blocker Amanda Anderson earned all tournament honors at the TCU Invitational this weekend in Fort Worth. Anderson hit a team-best .436 with 30 kills, averaged 2.73 kills per set and had a team-best 12 blocks as Arkansas went 1-2 for the tournament.

SAU goes 0-4 in Texas

Southern Arkansas lost all four of its matches top open the season in the Angelo State Invitational in San Angelo, Texas. The Lady Muleriders (0-4) lost 3-0 shutouts to Texas A&M-Commerce and East Central (Okla.) on Friday, then were swept 3-0 by host Angelo State (3-0) and fell 3-1 to Incarnate Word (Texas) on Saturday.

Danielle Sneed had 46 kills over the four matches to lead SAU.

SOCCER Arkansas 3-0 for first time

The Arkansas Razorbacks are 3-0 for the first time in program history after beating Missouri State 2-0 on Sunday at Razorback Field in Fayetteville.

Allie Chandler scored the first college goal in the first half and Ally Atkins had a goal in the 82nd minute.

The Razorbacks' previous best start came during the 1992 season when the team was 3-0-1.

Arkansas State falls at home

Olivia Lukasewich's goal in traffic from the top of the box in the 87th minute gave Louisiana Tech (2-0-0) a 1-0 victory over Arkansas State (1-1-0) on Sunday in Jonesboro.

Arkansas State freshman Tory Pitts had three shots, including two on goal.

UCA tops Texas Southern

Kari Mars had two goals and Cori Kaplinger and Randi Condley each had a goal and assist, leading Central Arkansas (2-1) to a 4-1 victory over Texas Southern (0-1) on Sunday in Houston.

Harding men lose in Oklahoma

Northeastern State (2-0) scored on an own goal just over a minute into overtime Sunday to win 1-0 over Harding (0-2) in non-conference play Sunday in Tahlequah, Okla.

In the extra period, a cross from Northeastern State's Zach Schmoker deflected off a Harding defender past goalkeeper James Thurmond, who had six saves in regulation.

Lyon women roll at home

Anja Klotzle had her second career hat trick and Katy Smith and Amber Mathieson added two goals apiece as Lyon (2-0) won 11-0 over Harris-Stowe State on Sunday in Batesville.

Klotzle scored all three of her goals in a little under four minutes and had Lyon's second hat trick in as many days.

Callaway, Hall boost Lyon men

Senior goalkeeper Matt Callaway notched his second consecutive shutout and midfielder Robert Hall scored the match-winner in the 11th minute to push Lyon (2-0) to a 1-0 victory over Harris-Stowe State on Sunday in Batesville.

Callaway (2-0) tied Lyon's all-time record for shutouts with 11 and had three saves. He tied the record set by Brent Hugg, who had 11 saves from 2002-2005.
