LITTLE ROCK — Two men were killed Sunday when a train struck a pickup in Ashdown, the Arkansas State Police reported.
The pickup's driver, Danny Green, 67, and passenger Danny Merrell, 49, both of Ashdown were headed east on Locke Street when they crossed over railroad tracks and were struck by the northbound Kansas City Southern train at 12:13 p.m., according to a state police report. Both men were killed, the report says.
No one else was injured in the crash.
