Fear causes risky delay in HIV tests, experts say

Too many people wait until they are sick to get tested for the virus that causes AIDS, thus lowering the chance they will benefit from treatments that can lessen its symptoms and help them live longer, healthier lives, a panel of health experts said Tuesday.
