The very idea of a family having to give ANYTHING to the government simply because they have suffered the loss of the life of a beloved member of that family is disgusting and immoral. That family has already had to pay the government a part of all monies earned simply because they chose to WORK to EARN the money in the first place. THEN they were forced to pay part of it to the government every time they wanted to trade some of their hard earned money for goods or services from OTHER hard working families - even the food they eat! How many times do the proponents of this immoral law think that the government can chip away at a family's money before that family has no more money from which to chip away?! What this type of legislation does is encourage people to "let the next sucker WORK for it! I'll just get a hold of one of these government teats and relax! It's not worth it to WORK for it anymore - you don't see any of it in the end!"
