LITTLE ROCK A North Little Rock bank was robbed this morning by a man who implied he was armed, authorities said.
The robber passed a note demanding money from a teller shortly after 10:15 a.m. at the Bank of the Ozarks on East McCain Blvd. He ran from the bank after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, said North Little Rock Police Sgt. Terry Kuykendall.
The man implied he had a handgun but never showed it, Kuykendall said.
The robber is described as a black man about 5-foot-10 to 6 feet tall and weighing about 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing a light blue hooded sweatshirt with red on the left sleeve, a white T-shirt and dark blue jeans.
Police taped off the bank parking lot and were dusting the front door for fingerprints about 45 minutes after the robbery.
A printout taped to the door stated that it was "temporarily closed due to an emergency."

Bank Teller #1: Does this look like "gub" or "gun"?
Bank Teller #2: Gun. See? But what does "abt" mean?
Virgil: It's "act". A-C-T. Act natural. Please put fifty thousand dollars into this bag and act natural.
Bank Teller #1: Oh, I see. This is a holdup?

Virgil: Nobody wears beige to a bank robbery!
