PULASKI OAK GROVE 51, HAMBURG 50

Cedrick Williams scored 24 points, including a free throw with no time remaining, to send the Hornets (20-10) to victory over the Lions (15-11).

Williams, who was 11 of 12 from the free-throw line, was fouled while going to the basket as the horn sounded. He missed the first free throw, but hit the second to eliminate Hamburg, last year's Class 4A state runner-up.

Hamburg had tied the game with 4 seconds left on a shot by Randy Brown.

"I think we played one of our worst games of the year," Oak Grove Coach Wayne Herren said. "We were 28 percent from the field and had 19 turnovers. We survived, but I don't know how."

Oak Grove will play either Lake Village or Arkadelphia in Friday's semifinals.
