— The nonprofit organization that puts on the Arkansas Blues and Heritage Festival in Helena-West Helena will charge admission for its main stage for the first time in its 24-year history.

The Sonny Boy Blues Society that puts on the festival, formerly the King Biscuit Blues Festival, decided to charge $10 daily and $25 for three days.

A second stage will be free.

The festival draws between 75,000 and 80,000 blues lovers to the Mississippi River town each October.
