Panel floats alternative health plan

Sen. Edward Kennedy's health committee released a new healthcare overhaul plan that would cover almost all Americans, in part by assessing fees on companies that don't offer insurance, and would cost almost $400 billion less than an earlier proposal.

If this plan "assesses" fees from employers, why will the plan cost taxpayers an additional 6 Hundred Plus Billion dollars to fund? Do you believe that the said "Employers" are just going to absorb said fees or do you thank they will pass the increase in doing business to their customers? Can you say Hidden Tax?
