Palin quits, stirs '12 speculation

Decision best for Alaska, she says

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin said Friday in Wasilla that her decision to leave office has been in the works for some time. "Finally, I polled the most important people in my life, my kids, where the count was unanimous," the former vice-presidential candidate said.
