After 5 years, tourists, scientists flit away from Brinkley

A couple of years ago, Brinkley bubbled with tourists and scientists hungry to catch a glimpse of the ivory-billed woodpecker, which was supposedly rediscovered near the eastern Arkansas town in 2004 after being considered extinct for six decades.
