SPRINGDALE A Springdale company that uses recycled plastic and wood to made door and window components and decking material wants a hearing concerning a potential delisting of its stock.
Advance Environmental Recycling Technologies Inc. asked NASDAQ, the nation's largest all-electronic stock market, for a formal hearing before a service panel to resolve issues over the possible delisting.
AERT says it has paid the required $5,000 fee for such a hearing. No date has been set for the hearing, but AERT's stock will continue to be listed while NASDAQ considers the request.
NASDAQ has told AERT the company is out of compliance with listing rules, which require companies to have at least $2.5 million in shareholder equity and a stock price of at least $1. AERT's stock closed Monday at 29 cents.
