ASU reports 2 cases of swine flu

— Arkansas State University officials say the campus has two confirmed cases of swine flu.

Rick Stripling, the vice chancellor for student affairs, says the students are in isolation.

The Jonesboro school says there are six other suspected cases of swine flu, also known as the H1N1 influenza virus. Those students are also being isolated.

According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Arkansas had 42 cases of confirmed swine flu as of Friday. There have been no swine-flu deaths reported in the state.
