LITTLE ROCK — As a new state law to provide incentives for filmmakers to come to Arkansas went into effect July 1, Dempsey Film Group invited friends to celebrate at a reception at its building on State Street.
Special guest was the state film commissioner, Christopher Crane, who assisted in getting the law passed.
Paula and Demp Dempsey greeted the 100 guests, many of whom are also interested in documentary films.
