Crossett police officer faces conspiracy, forgery charges

He's accused of trying to extort $2,700 from drug dealer

Authorities charged a Crossett police officer with four felonies Monday, including conspiracy to deliver cocaine, and accused him of trying to shake down a local drug dealer for $2,700 in drug money.

Not surprised at all. If you are paid a slim salary to put your life on the line everyday....then selling drugs might sound appealing. So sad.
