Weekend Calendar

Slide guitarist Joe Pitts, a Pine Bluff native, and the Joe Pitts Band will perform jazz, blues and rock, 5-7 p.m. Friday at the Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas, 701 Main St., Pine Bluff. The concert is part of the center's monthly Live@5 music series. In addition to Pitts, a graduate of Watson Chapel High School who now lives in Little Rock, band members are Jimmy Lynn of Odessa, Texas, on bass guitar and David Bishop of Nashville, Tenn., on drums and percussion.
