Chancellor's Scholarship awarded to Batesville student

BATESVILLE Summer George has been awarded a Chancellor's Scholarship at the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville, said Melissa Sisco, director of financial aid.
George graduated from Batesville High School. She is the daughter of Ann Heathwaite. She plans to pursue a degree inhistory and drama.
"UACCB has really worked with me to ensure that I receive the best education at the best price possible," she said.
The Chancellor's Scholarship is awarded to students with a composite ACT score of 27 or higher. It provides in-state tuition up to 15 hours, a $250 stipend and free use of textbooks each semester.
