First Service Bank hosting artists' exhibit

— Paintings by the North Central Arkansas Artist League will be on display in the lobby of First Service Bank in Clinton through August. The featured artists are Joyce Hartmann, Dorothy Hendrickson, Jeanne Homuth, Connie Hood, Ellen Kelly, Ruby Krimm, Melva King and Freda May.

The North Central Arkansas Artist League is an active group of local artists promoting arts in the community and beyond. The group consists of beginners to professional artists of all ages painting in all mediums. The League was founded in 1977 by Jeanne Homuth. The current membership has more than 30 artists from the surrounding area. They meet weekly to paint and share their talents through exhibits in the community. Workshops with nationally known artists are made available to the members and public throughout the year.

The exhibit can be viewed during the bank's normal business hours. For more information about the group, contact North Central Arkansas Artist League President Ellen Kelly at (501) 884-6476.
